2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell (knee) has been officially placed on the injured reserve. This was expected with it being revealed that Mitchell is likely to miss six-to-eight weeks of action. The 24-year-old will miss at least four games after being placed on the injured reserve. Christian McCaffrey will see an extremely high workload, while Jordan Mason and Tyrion Davis-Price pick up the scraps. At this point, it's tough to imagine Mitchell making an impact in the fantasy playoffs.
