Elieser Hernandez Returns With A Good Start
3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez (quadriceps) was activated from the injured list on Sunday and started against the Chicago Cubs. He tossed 5 1/3 innings, allowing just one run on four hits and a walk while striking out four. He allowed a solo home run in the sixth inning but that was it. He threw 82 pitches, 57 strikes, but most importantly he looked healthy. Assuming he remains healthy, he should be a strong fantasy starting pitcher for the rest of the season. He'll take a 2.84 ERA into his next start.
