Elieser Hernandez Restarting Rehab Assignment On Sunday
1 year agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez (shoulder) is restarting his rehab assignment for Class-A Brooklyn after having a setback in his previous attempt with Single-A St. Lucie. Hernandez has been out all year while dealing with a right shoulder strain and was shut down from his last rehab assignment back on June 14. He has no timetable for his return at the moment but it's encouraging that he's starting another assignment at the moment. Hernandez struggled with a 6.35 ERA and 1.43 WHIP over 62 1/3 innings with the Marlins last season but the Mets are in desperate need of starting pitcher help.
