3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez (quad) is looking at a stint on the injured list which will be more than 10-days according to manager Don Mattingly. Hernandez exited Thursday's game against the Pirates with a right quad strain. Hernandez was making just his first start back with Miami on Thursday after missing almost two months of the season with a biceps strain. Because of injuries, the talented 26-year old has thrown just 7 1/3 innings this season in only two starts. It appears Hernandez is facing another extended stay on the IL to the dismay of the Marlins and fantasy managers who have him rostered.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
