Elieser Hernandez Beginning a Rehab Assignment
3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez (quadriceps) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment on Saturday with Double-A Pensacola. Hernandez has been limited to just 7 1/3 innings this season, as he's been hurt in both games he's started. Hernandez has some upside if he can stay healthy though, he pitched 25 2/3 innings last season and posted a 3.16 ERA backed up by a 3.18 xERA. He struck out 34 and walked just five in 2020. He should be on a lot of fantasy league waiver wires and is definitely worth a shot as long as his rehab goes well.
