Elias Pettersson Leaves Bloodied After Elbow To Face
6 years agoVancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson (face) was left with a bloody face after taking an elbow to the face from New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider. The latter was assessed a five-minute major and game misconduct, and likely will face disciplinary action from the league. Pettersson required medical attention in the room, but was able to return and finish the game after being patched up. He finished scoreless with no shots on goal in 14:20 of ice time, but it appears he'll be fine for Friday's game against New Jersey.
