Elias Pettersson Has Two Points In Saturday's Win
6 years agoVancouver Canucks center Elias Pettersson helped the team end an eight-game losing streak on Saturday, finishing a 4-2 win at L.A. with a goal and an assist. He registered a helper on Sam Gagner's first goal of the season, which came on a power play, before recording the game-winning goal himself in the middle of the third period. Pettersson became the eighth player since 1984-85 to score 13+ goals through 20 career games. He leads all rookies in both goals and points (21) and it's not even close. The Canucks look set for another miserable season, but Pettersson is a huge bright spot. Adam Gaudette and Tyler Motte also scored against the Kings
