6 years agoVancouver Canucks center Elias Petterson found the score sheet five times on Friday, posting two goals and three assists in a 7-6 overtime victory over the Colorado Avalanche. Additionally, the impressive rookie posted a plus-three rating, four shots on goal and four takeaways in 22:45 of time-on-ice in the contest. Pettersson is taking the NHL by storm during the first month of his career and is now up to 15 points (nine goals, six assists) in nine games. Scoring is nothing new for the fifth-overall draft pick of the 2017 draft, as Pettersson led the Swedish Hockey League in scoring last season as an 18-year-old.
