5 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Eli Manning made several impressive throws during Monday's practice. The 38-year-old quarterback came into camp knowing that his job was on the line, and up to this point he has stepped up to the challenge of battling with the sixth overall pick, quarterback Daniel Jones. Head coach Pat Shurmur has not said whether Manning will play in the first preseason game against the Jets, other than stating that, "Were looking for Jones to go out there and execute." As the quarterback battle heats up in New York, Jones' performance against the Jets will tell a lot about where the position battle stands.--addison_phillips
