Eeli Tolvanen Lifts Nashville Past The Islanders
3 years agoNashville Predators winger Eeli Tolvanen extended his goal streak to three games with a late game-winner against the Islanders on Thursday. He make it 4-3 with 12 seconds left in regulation, which is tied for the second-latest go-ahead goal in franchise history. Tolvanen was plus-two for the contest and tallied three shots with two hits. The young Finn has put together a goal streak after going through a massive 22-game drought. It's limited his output to four goals and nine points for the season. However, he's skating with the red-hot Ryan Johansen and there should be more to come from Tolvanen in the upcoming games.
