6 months agoNew York Mets closer Edwin Diaz picked up his fifth save of the season in Monday's 4-3 win over the Cardinals. Diaz came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning up by one and turned in a 1-2-3 performance with a strikeout. The 30-year-old hasn't had as many opportunities in the early going as fantasy managers would hope for, but he has still converted all but one save opportunity with a 2.45 ERA and a 13.50 K/9 rate in 14 2/3 innings pitched.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
