Edwin Diaz Locks Up Sixth Save
6 years agoAfter an eventful four hours of baseball, the New York Mets held a lead in the 11th inning Monday night against the Philadelphia Phillies. Closer Edwin Diaz was summoned and he was stellar once again, striking out the side to secure another victory. Diaz now has six saves, the second most in the National League early on this season. For now, however, he continues to do what's expected of him, quickly establishing himself as one of the top closers this year.
