Edward Cabrera Throwing From 90 Feet
2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Edward Cabrera (elbow) has begun throwing from 90 feet, according to Marlins beat writer Jordan McPherson. Cabrera has been on the 15-day injured list for about two weeks due to right elbow tendinitis. He was slated for a rehab outing at Triple-A last week, but he wound up being scratched from the start to attend to a personal matter. The 24-year-old made three starts with the Marlins prior to landing on the injured list. He looked great in his first two outings, allowing just one earned run across 12 frames, but his third outing was a rough one as the Houston Astros tagged him for five runs over 3 2/3 innings.
