Edward Cabrera Set To Start On Saturday
2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Edward Cabrera (ankle) is in line to start on Saturday vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. The lanky hurler left his last start early after twisting his ankle while fielding a bunt in the fourth inning against the Nationals. He will most likely be on a pitch count as this will be his final start of the season and the Marlins won't want to push him too hard. The 24-year-old Cabrera owns a 6-4 record, 3.15 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 70:33 K/BB ratio over 68 2/3 innings (13 starts). He's a name to keep an eye on in fantasy drafts next season.
