Edward Cabrera Exits Saturday's Start Early
2 years agoMiami Marlins pitcher Edward Cabrera (ankle) exited Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers after appearing to aggravate his right ankle injury. He was removed from Saturday's start after his warmup pitches during the bottom of the fourth inning. The 24-year-old struck out five over three perfect innings before exiting. His issue isn't considered long-term, and he is expected to return before Spring Training starts, but his 2022 season is over. Cabrera owned a 3.01 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 75 strikeouts across 71 23 innings in 2022.
