Eduardo Rodriguez Tosses Quality Start On Thursday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starter Eduardo Rodriguez went six innings, allowing one run on five hits in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Rodriguez struck out seven batters without walking anyone. He left the game with a lead, but the bullpen collapsed and saddled Rodriguez with a no-decision. Regardless, it was a nice bounce-back performance after Rodriguez allowed five runs in his previous start. The 25-year-old has a 12-4 record with a 3.53 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 133/36 K/BB ratio through 22 starts this season. He can be rolled out with confidence on Thursday, even against the potent New York Yankees.
