Eduardo Rodriguez Gets Game 4 Nod
6 years agoBoston Red Sox left-handed starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez will start in Game 4 of the World Series against the Dodgers on Saturday. Nathan Eovaldi, who was originally schedule to start in Game 4, pitched six innings of relief in the 18-inning Game 3 loss in Los Angeles on Friday. E-Rod was solid this year, going 13-5 with a 3.82 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and career-high 10.1 K/9 over 27 outings (23 starts), but he has only pitched in relief in the postseason, so his leash could be very short in this one. The good news is that the Dodgers are much more vulnerable to left-handed hitters, although Dodgers starter Rich Hill will be a more attractive DFS pick.
