Eduardo Escobar Exits Thursday’s Game With Elbow Injury
6 years agoMinnesota Twins infielder Eduardo Escobar (elbow) had to leave Thursday’s game against the Boston Red Sox with an injury. Escobar took a pitch right on his right elbow in the first inning. He went down at home plate for a while but managed to remain in the game. He was ruled out for the rest of the game after striking out in the third inning, though. Utilityman Taylor Motter took his place at third base. Escobar should be considered day-to-day at this point, and fantasy owners will have to hope the injury isn’t serious.
