Edouard Julien Knocks First Hit And Homer Thursday
2 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Edouard Julien had a memorable day at the dish on Thursday, going 2-for-5 with his first career hit and home run in an 11-2 drubbing of the New York Yankees. Interestingly enough, the hit and home run came in separate at-bats but were both in the first inning of this one. The 23-year-old top prospect was leading off for the Twins today, and based on his performance, he could stay at that spot until Jorge Polanco (knee) is ready to return. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues who are in need of a second baseman may want to take a flier on Julien and see if he can continue impressing.
