5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Edinson Volquez (elbow) is playing catch on Wednesday for the first time since April. Manager Chris Woodward said that Volquez could be a nice addition to the bullpen later this year. The 35-year-old right-hander doesn't have much left in the tank in his career. He had a 7.04 ERA, 2.35 WHIP and six K's in 7 2/3 innings in his two starts for Texas before getting hurt. Even if he somehow is making starts for the Rangers again in 2019, you should probably avoid him at all costs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
