Eddy Pineiro hasn't gotten many opportunities to kick field goals the past few weeks. Over the past four games, he has only attempted three field goals. The silver lining for Pineiro is that between Weeks 10 and 13, he made nine of his 11 field goal attempts. In Week 18, the Panthers take on their division rivals, the Atlanta Falcons, who have allowed the sixth most fantasy points to opposing kickers, giving some hope for Pineiro in this contest. However, the lack of consistent attempts makes it difficult for fantasy managers to trust Pineiro in this one. The 29-year-old comes in as K27 in the latest RotoBaller kicker rankings for Week 18. There are likely better options at the kicker position for fantasy managers.

Last week, Pineiro connected on 3-of-4 extra point attempts and his lone field goal in the win over the Arizona Cardinals. Now, Pineiro heads into a matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17. A team he made three field goals against in Week 13. The 29-year-old also missed two field goals during that game. Pineiro might be active this weekend, but he's far from a lock in terms of a solid fantasy kicker.

Pineiro ranks 20th in field goal conversion percentage and 27th in extra point percentage. However, his opportunities to keep his leg warm with in-game reps have sometimes been scarce, attempting just one field goal over his last two games. It will be his lowest-scoring season of the three in Carolina, so he remains a low-end streaming option this week. The Cardinals did allow a five-field goal game to the Los Angeles Chargers earlier this season. With the lack of opportunities, Pineiro is ranked 24th in the latest RotoBaller kicker rankings and is mainly a streamer in very deep leagues.

However, he remains a risky streaming choice ahead of the Week 15 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Pineiro has three misses over the last two games, so fantasy managers should look elsewhere for help ahead of Week 15.
