1 year agoCarolina Panthers kicker Eddy Pineiro (groin) has been absent from practice and preseason games while nursing a groin injury. However, Panthers head coach Frank Reich said he should be ready for Week 1 and might attempt short field goal tries in Friday's preseason finale against the Detroit Lions. Despite kicking for a team with a poor offense last season, Pineiro finished tied for sixth in total fantasy points at the position. That said, he could continue to be on the fantasy radar in 2023. Carolina's offense shouldn't be expected to be great, but it could stall near the red zone, leading to plenty of Pineiro field goal tries.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
