Eddie Rosario Taking A Seat Versus Lefty In Game 4 Thursday
1 year agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Eddie Rosario will be on the bench to begin Thursday's Game 4 of the NLDS versus the Philadelphia Phillies and left-hander Ranger Suarez. As has been the case all season long, Rosario will yield left-field duties to the righty-swinging Kevin Pillar against a southpaw starter but it's likely he will enter the game in Pillar's place when his spot comes up against a right-handed reliever. It was a solid season at the plate for the former Twins outfielder who hit .255 with 21 home runs and a .755 OPS across 142 appearances, production that graded out as exactly league average, judging from his 100 wRC+. The 32-year-old has one hit and three strikeouts in six postseason at-bats this fall.
