Eddie Rosario Still Not Cleared To Throw
Eddie Rosario (triceps) still has not been cleared to throw as he works his way back from triceps tendinitis in his throwing arm. Rosario is expected to rejoin the lineup as the team's designated hitter in the coming days but he still has not been cleared to throw. It is a positive sign that he will be able to hit soon but it would be nice to see him able to play defense before spending a pick on him in fantasy drafts this spring. Rosario will look to build upon a career year in 2017, which saw him set career highs in batting average, homers, runs, and RBI.

Braves Sign Eddie Rosario, Option Jarred Kelenic To Triple-A Gwinnett
Jarred Kelenic to the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers and signed outfielder Eddie Rosario to a major-league contract in a corresponding move. Kelenic, a former first-round pick, hasn't gotten it going at the big-league level, and he's started 2025 incredibly poorly. Despite a hit in four of his last six appearances, the 25-year-old is slashing a disastrous .167/.231/.300 over 60 at-bats (ten hits). Rosario signed a minor-league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers a few months back and went 1-for-4 in his only two appearances with LA roughly ten days ago. He projects to platoon for Atlanta in the outfield for now.

Dodgers Sign Eddie Rosario To Minor-League Deal
Eddie Rosario to a minor-league contract. Rosario spent time with the Washington Nationals and the Atlanta Braves during the 2024 campaign. However, he had the worst season of his 10-year MLB career as he held a .175/.215/.36 slash line. He hit just 10 home runs and swiped nine bags across 91 contests. He drew walks at a poor 5.0 percent rate and struck out at a high 24.1 percent rate. This was a sharp drop from the .255/.305/.450 line and 21 long balls he hit during the 2023 campaign. Given the depth on the Dodgers roster, fantasy managers should expect Rosario to open the campaign at the Triple-A level. If he does bounce back in spring training, he could compete for playing time alongside Andy Pages and James Outman.

Eddie Rosario Released By Mets
Eddie Rosario, who had been playing with Triple-A Syracuse, was released by the team on Sunday. The Mets signed Rosario to a minor-league deal on Aug. 13 and have already moved on after he went 3-for-29 (.103) with a homer, two RBI and eight strikeouts in seven games played at Syracuse. The 32-year-old left-handed-hitting veteran also hit a combined .175/.215/.316 with 10 home runs, 35 RBI and nine stolen bases in 319 plate appearances over 91 games with the Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves this year. It's been a steep fall for Rosario, who last year hit .255/.305/.450 with 21 home runs and 74 RBI in 142 games with the Braves. If he latches on with another team before the end of the 2024 season, it will be his fourth club of the year.

Braves Designate Eddie Rosario For Assignment
Eddie Rosario for assignment. Rosario spent 24 games with Atlanta after starting the season with the Washington Nationals. With the Braves, Rosario turned in a slash line of .154/.181/.282 with three homers and nine RBI. The 32-year-old struggled in his second go-around with the Braves and will look to catch on with a new team. It would be hard to imagine Rosario being fantasy-relevant even if he were to find a new opportunity.
