1 year agoChicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson (foot) has been ruled out for the rest of the game due to a foot injury, per NFL Network's Sara Walsh. The former first-team all-pro went down without contact and grabbed his lower ankle after attempting to help stop a Chris Godwin reception. Jackson is one of the better players on a weak Chicago defense, so this is a big loss for the Bears secondary. Baker Mayfield should feel slightly more comfortable throwing downfield with the absence of the Bears star safety so Mike Evans could see another deep shot or two.--Ryan J. Goodman
