Easton McGee, Adam Oller, Luis Torrens Outrighted
1 year agoThe Seattle Mariners outrighted right-handers Easton McGee (elbow) and Adam Oller and catcher Luis Torrens to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday. McGee had Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in May and is expected to be sidelined into the second half of the 2024 campaign. The 25-year-old has thrown 9 2/3 scoreless innings with a walk and three K's in two outings (one start) in the last two years with Seattle and the Tampa Bay Rays. Oller, 29, gave up 24 runs (22 earned) in just 19 2/3 innings over nine games (one start) for the Oakland Athletics in 2023 with 12 walks and 13 strikeouts. Torrens, 27, played in 18 games with the M's and Chicago Cubs this year and went 7-for-28 (.250) with no homers and four RBI in just 30 plate appearances at the big-league level.
