Eagles Want More Than a First-Rounder for Nick Foles
7 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles are looking for more than the first- and fourth-round picks they got when they traded Sam Bradford if they are going to trade Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. The Eagles are reportedly "fielding inquiries" from other teams for Foles, but the best offer reported so far has been a second-round pick. The Eagles expect franchise quarterback Carson Wentz (knee) to be ready for Week 1, but Foles is the NFL's best backup plan, and the team is right in asking for a lot in order to move on from him. Foles won't be starting for the Eagles in 2018, and it's starting to look like he might end up backing up Wentz again instead of starting somewhere else.
