12 months agoThe Philadelphia Eagles are expected to have interest in free-agent tight end Zach Ertz. The Arizona Cardinals cut him after he requested his release this week, and he officially cleared waivers on Friday, so he can now sign with any team on the open market. The 33-year-old veteran hasn't played since Week 7 due to a quadriceps injury but he should be able to play down the stretch and wants a shot at another Super Bowl ring. It would be a reunion for both sides, as Ertz played the first nine seasons of his career in Philadelphia. Starting tight end Dallas Goedert is getting close to returning from a fractured forearm he suffered in Week 9, so the Eagles wouldn't be the best landing spot for Ertz in terms of fantasy potential to end the 2023 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
