Eagles Defense Holds Giants Offense In Check
2 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles defense held the New York Giants to seven points, generated five sacks, and forced one turnover during the team's 38-7 playoff victory. Philadelphia was on their way to a shutout in the Divisional round but let up a late touchdown after being up four scores. The Eagles defensive line dominated this game, keeping Giants quarterback Daniel Jones under constant duress and putting him on the ground five times. With all of their starters back, with the exception of cornerback Avonte Maddox (toe), Philadelphia held the Giants to less than 140 passing and rushing yards. It was an elite performance that the team will look to replicate next week against much stiffer competition. They will still be a recommended fantasy option against the winner of Sunday's Dallas vs. San Francisco game.
