Eagles Defense Generates Five Turnovers During Sunday's Victory
2 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles defense allowed 15 points, recorded four sacks, forced three fumbles, recovered four, and forced an interception during the team's 29-21 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Six of Jacksonville's 21 points were scored by their defense when they took an interception to the house in the first quarter. Philadelphia used the weather conditions to their advantage, putting consistent pressure on quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who fumbled the ball four times. The Eagles held the Jaguars to a total of 68 rushing yards, keeping James Robinson and Travis Etienne in check. Philadelphia has generated 10 total turnovers and 16 sacks over the past month and has held opposing offenses to 15 points or less since Week 1. With Arizona, Dallas, Pittsburgh, and Houston coming up over the next five weeks, Philadelphia should be considered a top-tier fantasy defense moving forward.
