Eagles Defense's Fantasy Upside Capped In Week 9
1 year agoThe Philadelphia Eagles defense will face off against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9. Philadelphia's secondary was shredded in Week 8 by Sam Howell, who threw for 397 yards and four touchdowns. Newly acquired safety Kevin Byard did not play a full allotment of snaps last week but will be heavily involved this weekend against Dak Prescott and the Dallas offense. Perhaps more shocking than Howell's performance in Week 8 was the lack of pressure on the quarterback from Philadelphia. They recorded just one sack, and it was the first time all year the team did not record multiple. The Cowboys have scored the eighth-most points in the league offensively and have turned the ball over just seven times all year. The Eagles' defense can be started for fantasy any week, but keep expectations in check during this divisional showdown.
