Eagles Defense A Low-End Starting Option Against Dallas
2 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles defense will go on the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday. The last time these two teams met, Philadelphia held Dallas to 17 points and intercepted backup quarterback Cooper Rush three times. However, it was the only game this season the Eagles failed to record a sack, and starting quarterback Dak Prescott is back under center. Prescott has struggled with turnovers since his return to the field, throwing the most in the league since Week 7. Philadelphia's offense may struggle without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder). However, the defense has been playing well over the past three weeks, recording 19 sacks and giving up an average of 17.3 points per game. They have a much lower floor this week than most others, but the Eagles defense is still a viable fantasy option in Week 16 if you have been riding with them for the past few weeks.
