New Orleans Pelicans forward EJ Liddell (knee) tore his ACL during Monday's Summer League clash with the Hawks. The injury was originally classified as a sprain. However, after further testing, the news was much worse. The 21-year-old averaged 19.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, and 2.5 assists throughout 32 games with the Buckeyes last season. While Liddell had plenty of hype entering the 2022 NBA Draft, he is now out indefinitely, although the possibility remains he could miss the entire 2022-23 campaign.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
