Dylan Moore To Have Core-Muscle Surgery
2 years agoSeattle Mariners president of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto confirmed on Tuesday that utility player Dylan Moore (core) will have surgery for a core injury that has bothered him since the end of last season. Moore is in Philadelphia to have the surgery in the coming days, and it will come with a six- to eight-week recovery timetable. Barring any setbacks after his procedure, the 30-year-old should be good to go for spring training next year. He'll continue to serve in a utility platoon role while almost exclusively playing against left-handed pitching. Moore is useful for his speed (21 steals in each of the last two years) in deeper leagues. He slashed .224/.368/.385 with six homers, 24 RBI and 41 runs in 104 games in 2022.
