Dylan Moore Reaches Three Times, Steals A Base
4 years agoSeattle Mariners utility man Dylan Moore has continued to find ways to contribute in limited playing time. He started Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals at third base batting eighth, and he went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base, a run scored, and an RBI. Moore is now slashing .455/.538/.727 with a home run and three steals in his last seven games, making him a solid dart-throw for desperate fantasy managers in the coming scoring period, as he may find his way into the lineup a bit more.

Dylan Moore Homers In Win Wednesday
6 days agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Dylan Moore turned in a solid game in a 3-2 win over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday. Moore went 1-for-1 with a homer, two runs, two walks, and a steal in the close win over Detroit. The veteran launched his first homer of the season off 2024 Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal in the fourth inning in what would be the Mariners' final run of the game. Moore is off to a fast start in 2025, picking up three hits and three walks across five contests for a .375 batting average. This was Moore's first steal of the season after he swiped 32 bags for the Mariners last year. He will look to stay hot going forward.

Dylan Moore Back From Illness
2 weeks agoSeattle Mariners infielder Dylan Moore (illness) wasn't in the Opening Day lineup on Thursday due to an illness but will return on Friday to play second base and bat eighth against the division-rival Athletics and left-hander Jeffrey Springs at T-Mobile Park. Moore is a super-utility man for the Mariners who stole a career-high 32 bases in a career-high 135 games in 2024 in his sixth year with the team. However, he's barely hit above the Mendoza Line the last two seasons and is primarily attractive to Seattle because of his defensive versatility in both the infield and outfield. For fantasy managers in AL-only leagues, Moore is useful for his speed and the fact that he's eligible at shortstop, second base, third base and the outfield. He's a poor DFS play Friday evening and has one hit in just two career at-bats versus Springs.

Dylan Moore Scratched With Illness
2 weeks agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dylan Moore (illness) was scratched from the team's Sunday Cactus League outing against the Milwaukee Brewers with flu-like symptoms. Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reported the news. Per Divish, the cold/flu bug is still going around the clubhouse, with Moore the latest to be hit. The 32-year-old is batting a paltry .136 this spring (6-for-44) with one homer, two RBIs, and three steals. Moore notched a career-high 32 steals a season ago. Still, he doesn't project to be a strong source of average or power, as he's yet to eclipse a .224 batting average since 2022. Fantasy managers can safely avoid him in drafts despite his positional versatility.

Dylan Moore Returns From Paternity List
10 months agoThe Seattle Mariners reinstated infielder/outfielder Dylan Moore from the paternity list on Thursday and optioned infielder Leo Rivas to Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move after Wednesday's contest. Moore has been on the paternity list since Monday but will now return to the M's and will likely start at second base in Thursday's series finale against the visiting Chicago White Sox with Jorge Polanco (hamstring) still on the injured list. The 31-year-old veteran has some speed to spare and is useful for his positional versatility in deeper leagues, but he has been cold offensively of late and is hitting just .213/.325/.408 on the year with six home runs, 22 RBI, nine stolen bases and 23 runs scored in 169 at-bats. So far in June, he's been worse, slashing .160/.233/.200 with two RBI and five runs scored.
