Dylan Lesko Shipped To Tampa Bay
4 months agoSan Diego Padres starting pitching prospect Dylan Lesko is heading to Tampa Bay in the package that sent Jason Adam to San Diego. Lesko was considered the third-best prospect in the San Diego system on MLB.com prior to the trade. The former 15th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft has spent the entire summer getting his first extended look at High-A ball. Unfortunately, the right-hander has struggled with a 6.46 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, and a 52:79 BB:K ratio. After posting his best start of the season on June 15, where he logged six shutout frames, he has then carried a high 6.66 ERA and 1.48 WHIP across his past five starts. The 20-year-old is worth keeping a close eye on in dynasty leagues, as the Rays can help him work through these struggles and get him back on track in 2025.
