Dylan Larkin Extends Point Streak to Five Games
7 years agoDetroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin has been one of the hottest players in the league over the last week, scoring eight points in his last five games. He extended that streak Thursday night against the Montreal Canadiens by scoring Detroit’s first goal and assisting on a goal in the third period. Larkin leads Detroit in points (62) and shots (229) but only has 15 goals on the season, which is a career low. If Larkin can improve on his goal totals next season, he should be a valuable fantasy asset. Detroit plays their last game of the season on Saturday against the Islanders, who allow a league-worst 3.58 goals per game. On a hot streak and in a favorable matchup, Larkin is a great play in any format this Saturday.
