Dylan Larkin Extends For Five Years In Hockeytown
6 years agoThe Detroit Red Wings inked restricted free agent forward Dylan Larkin to a five-year contract with an AAV of $6.1 million. The 22-year-old scored 16 goals and a team-high 63 points last season. A 20-goal scorer as a rookie, Larkin looks poised to return to the 20-goal club and be a leader on this Detroit team for the next five years. Larkin may line up as the Red Wings top center, as captain Henrik Zetterberg’s back issues may hold him out of competition to start the 2018-19 season. Larkin is an attractive fantasy asset, he’s an important piece of the offense and will get plenty of ice time in all situations.
