Dylan Guenther Ruled Out Indefinitely
3 months agoUtah Hockey Club right wing Dylan Guenther (lower body) has been ruled out indefinitely. The team announced the news ahead of Friday's clash against San Jose. This is a bad blow for the NHL's newest franchise, as Guenther is among Utah's best players. The 21-year-old has scored a team-high 16 goals and boasts 34 points in 40 appearances. Utah has recalled Josh Doan from the AHL to replace Guenther in the lineup. Doan has tallied two points (one goal, one assist) in nine NHL appearances this season while producing nearly a point per game in the minors. He's expected to link up with Matias Maccelli and Barrett Hayton on the second line in Friday's game

With 22 games played, Guenther has tallied 10 goals and 10 assists with 56 shots and a plus-seven rating. The young winger now gets some time off before facing Connor McDavid and the Oilers.
