10 months agoBuffalo Sabres center Dylan Cozens (upper body) won't play Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks. Cozens is day-to-day with an injury suffered Monday and isn't ready to get back in the lineup. The 22-year-old had a breakout 2022-23 campaign but hasn't been able to live up to the lofty expectations set this season. He has just 22 points (seven goals, 15 assists) in 42 games and has seen a decline in ice time and powerplay time as the season has progressed. The Sabres need to get him going eventually, so expect him to be put into good situations moving forward. Still, one can't be blamed for dropping him in deeper leagues considering his lack of production so far.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
