2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson exited Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies after experiencing a pinch in his neck, according to Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. It was only precautionary, but more news is still to come. Consider Carlson day-to-day for now. The former top prospect has had limited playing time so far this season, usually getting at-bats against left-handers. Over seven games, he owns a .300/.333/.350 slash line with no home runs, no RBI, four runs, and zero stolen bases. Due to his part-time at-bats and career .248 average and .729 OPS, his value is very limited, and fantasy managers should use Carlson just as a streaming option for now.--Spencer Seguin
