Dylan Carlson Optimistic About Ankle Injury
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson (ankle) left Sunday's contest against the Boston Red Sox early after spraining his ankle on the basepaths. However, following the game, the former top prospect told reporters he isn't "overly worried," but the team will have to see how he's feeling on Monday before they can decide on a course of action, according to Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Carlson won't be missed much if the team puts him on the shelf, as he owns a .230/.278/.350 slash line with two homers, 12 runs, 12 RBI, and a stolen base over 32 games. Fantasy managers can expect to see more of Juan Yepez if that is the case, who's hitting .250 through nine games and went deep 12 times across 76 games in 2022.
