Dylan Bundy Pitches Better But Takes Loss Sunday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dylan Bundy turned in a good start despite taking the loss in Sunday's 4-3 game against the Twins. Bundy pitched six innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk with four strikeouts. Most importantly, Bundy gave up no home runs, which has been his issue since last season (2.70 HR/9 in 2019). He is now 0-3 with a 6.56 ERA, 26 strikeouts, and 10 walks in 23 1/3 innings pitched. The 26-year-old is a frustrating fantasy option because he has shown signs of being effective in the past but is hard to trust. He will get a chance for the win in his next start against the Twins again on the road.
