Dylan Bundy Can't Go Six Innings In Wobbly Outing Versus Mets
7 years agoEven though it's spring training, Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dylan Bundy did draw a tough pitching matchup on Sunday. He was pitted against Mets starter Noah Syndergaard, who has been living up to his Thor moniker. Bundy tried to become the first Orioles starter to go six innings but faltered, going 5 2/3 frames. It was not a pretty start, as he gave up five runs, all earned. Yes, he struck out six, but he couldn't get some outs when he needed them. His spring ERA is now 9.60 and while it's not indicative of what his regular season may be like, it's still not good. Proceed with caution.
