4 years agoThe Diamond shined bright in Saturday night's main event, as Dustin Poirier (27-6) avenged his previous loss to Conor McGregor by scoring a second-round TKO victory. Poirier was a huge underdog, according to DraftKings, coming into the matchup. That may be the last time you can get him at a bargain price, but Poirier is with rostering no matter what. In the 7:32 of action, Poirier landed 48 significant strikes (53 total strikes) along with securing his only takedown attempt. Poirier's next opponent is unknown, but what's more than likely is that it will be for the undisputed lightweight championship.--Matt Bricker
