6 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is still sidelined from the knee inflammation that put him on the disabled list back on June 2. Pedroia, who says he is feeling better every day, has still not participated in any baseball-related activities. He is traveling with the team, which suggests that the injury is non-severe. Regardless, an imminent return seems unlikely. Pedroia has battled injury all season long and has only managed to appear in three games. He's been an effective fantasy player for the majority of his career, especially in the batting average and RBI departments. Once healthy, he will have a great opportunity to produce in a loaded Red Sox lineup, but until he proves he can avoid injury, he is a risky fantasy proposition.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
