Dustin Pedroia Can't Get Past Knee Injury
6 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) was pulled from his rehab assignment again on Monday with "minor left knee soreness." He was also scratched from the lineup before a game with Double-A Portland on Saturday, which was supposed to be the first of three straight games as he works his way back from his left knee woes. The four-time All-Star had only two hits in his brief time in the majors this year and is now 35 years old. There's no timetable for Pedroia's return at this point, and even when he does return he's likely to be more of a bench option with Michael Chavis cementing himself as a starter.
