Dustin May To Start Monday
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers rookie starting pitcher Dustin May will start on Monday against the Padres. The 21-year-old from Texas has made three starts and one relief outing since making his major league debut and has a 4.26 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 15 K's and three walks in 19 innings for the Blue. It remains to be seen how many more starts May will make the rest of the way, but he should at least be in consideration as a streamer against San Diego in deep mixed leagues because of his upside. Gingergaard faced the Friars in his big league debut on Aug. 2 and allowed four runs (three earned) on nine hits while walking none and fanning three in 5 2/3 innings. He's gone exactly 5 2/3 frames in each of his three starts so far.
