While Dustin Johnson does not enter this tournament riding particularly strong form, his history at this event is hard to ignore. In seven appearances at TPC Southwind, Johnson has never finished worse than 24th, and he claimed victory in both 2012 and 2018. The two-time major champion's success at TPC Southwind should come as a surprise. Johnson has excellent long term form with his short irons, which has proven to be crucial at this course. The 24-time PGA Tour winner is coming off a missed cut at the 3M Open, but his irons remained intact, and prior to that, he recorded an eighth-place finish at the British Open. Johnson will want to build some momentum heading into the playoffs, and this is a good place to start. --Andy Lack
