6 years agoDustin Johnson was able to capture three titles on the PGA Tour last season, including a runaway victory here at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Johnson's 24-under par showing eclipsed second-place finisher Jon Rahm by eight strokes and clinched his spot at Kapalua for 2019. The American enters the event this season having made his last eight cuts of the 2018 calendar year, but he has fallen from first to third in the Official World Golf Rankings since September. Johnson is the odds-on favorite to capture the title this weekend at odds of 5/1, according to the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.
